Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

He has been thriving in a foster home where he's gained confidence, settled into a routine, and shown everyone what a wonderful companion he can be. Living with another dog has helped Bayou truly come out of his shell. He's sweet, playful, affectionate, and loves being part of the family. Whether he's playing with his canine friend, exploring the yard, or relaxing with his people, Bayou is happiest when he's surrounded by those he loves. Personality: Bayou is an intelligent, affectionate dog who thrives on routine and companionship. He especially enjoys having another friendly dog around and gains confidence from a canine companion. He's eager to please, enjoys playtime, and forms strong bonds with his people. Bayou does experience separation anxiety, but he has been making wonderful progress with medication, consistency, a predictable routine, and 2 doggy foster siblings.
