He is extremely affectionate and kind, as well as a fantastic greeter. He can't see you with his eyes, but he still welcomes you with his heart and hands out kisses. He is a happy guy who loves to hang out with you. Just understand that he does require a fence and he does pull very hard on a leash (very strong). He would do best as an only dog, or could have a very calm dog with an experienced owner. No active dogs for siblings, however, and no cats. Sterling is a lovely, lovely boy, full of fun antics, siliness, and charm. He loves toys and dancing around the house with them, carrying them in his mouth everywhere he goes. He'll even entertain you with a song and dance holding his toys! SO much character in this guy!  If you want a bright, big smiling, happy boy, Sterling is a wonderful choice. ##1374200##

Story
This sweet girl is 5 years old and originally belonged to my brother, who has since passed away. After his death, she was left living a life she didn’t choose — spending most of her years outdoors on a chain with very little socialization. Because of that, she is extremely energetic and craves attention. She isn’t aggressive — she simply never learned boundaries or basic training and is now discovering what affection feels like. Since being in my care, she has gained healthy weight, looks great, and shows just how loving and people-oriented she truly is. I believe she is a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, which explains her intelligence, loyalty, and high energy. She will need a patient, committed adopter who understands under-socialized dogs and is willing to invest time in training and structure. She is not yet spayed; adoption will include a spay agreement. She will never live on a chain again. I am dedicated to finding her a responsible, loving home where she can finally thrive.
