Meet Maurice – With Soulful Eyes. Some puppies capture your attention with playful antics. Maurice captures your heart with a single look. At just 4 months old and 12 pounds, Maurice has the kind of soulful eyes that tell a story of hope, resilience, and a quiet wish for a family to finally call his own. Maurice's life almost ended before it had the chance to begin. When an unspayed dog became pregnant, the puppies were unwanted. Our rescuers were told that if someone didn't take them, they would be killed. Thankfully, rescue stepped in just in time, giving Maurice the chance he deserved. Despite such a heartbreaking beginning, Maurice has grown into one of the gentlest puppies you'll ever meet. Sweet, calm, and incredibly affectionate, he's happiest simply being close to the people he loves. Maurice is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a great fit for many families. He's still learning house training and is making great progress every day. Currently waiting in Puerto Rico, Maurice is ready to find his forever family. His adoption fee includes transportation anywhere in the mainland United States, so distance doesn't have to keep him from the home he's been dreaming of. Maurice was given a second chance at life. Now all he needs is someone to give him the love, safety, and forever home he's always deserved.

Caesar's life almost ended before it had the chance to begin. When an unspayed dog became pregnant, the puppies were unwanted. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time, and Caesar was given the chance to grow into the happy, loving puppy he is today. Now, all that's missing is a family to call his own. Caesar is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico, but his adoption fee includes transportation to a loving forever home anywhere in the mainland United States.
