Story
Charley was a rescue pet. She had been abused as a puppy, malnourished and kept in a kennel way too small for her where her legs were stuck in the sitting position for a while. We were a no kid, no pet household and she was content with only some signs of triggers of her past where she would become very scared. It went away over the years and she was just a snuggly and playful pup. We got another puppy a year later and they played mostly until the other pup got bigger than her. We had twin babies that are now toddlers and she seems to be losing her patience with age and the kids and other dog getting older. I believe Charley needs a home with no kids or other dogs so she can have less stress. She doesn't bite anyone in the house but she gets protective and barks at people coming to the house she doesn't know unless she gets to know them. She can still be a great cuddler but if a kid or other dog come around she will leave.
