NOTE: DIXIE & OTTER ARE A BONDED PAIR & MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHERDixie (born around May of 2021) is a Weimaraner who was surrendered to Safe Haven after her owner passed away. She enjoys going for walks with our volunteers, playing fetch, and engaging in tug-of-war with her bonded lab friend, Otter. Dixie is looking for a forever family who will provide safety, security, and lots of playtime and affection. She and Otter have both lived in a house before, so she already knows the basic rules of living in a home and would love to join her humans in being a couch potato.

Due to no fault of her own, Freckles is with us for the second time, and were hoping this time she finds the home thats truly right for her. <br/><br/>When shes in her kennel with a cozy blanket, Freckles is perfectly content to curl up on her bed and take a nap. Shes a total couch potato who seems to believe that a good day should include plenty of rest, a few belly scratches, and maybe a pup cup or some bacon. <br/><br/>Get her outside, though, and youll see another side of her. She starts out with plenty of energy, loves zoomies and splashing around in the water, and then shes more than happy to come over for cuddles. Shes curious, laid-back, and incredibly treat motivated.<br/><br/>Shes also amazing on leash. Freckles doesnt pull and walks calmly beside her person. Shes potty trained, knows commands like sit and down, and already has many of the skills that make her such an easy companion.<br/><br/>All Freckles really wants is a loving home that will be hers forever. In return, youll get a sweet, cuddly girl who would much rather spend her days napping beside you than doing anything too complicated.<br/><br/>Freckles has already had to start over once.<br/><br/>Wed love for this next chapter to finally be the one that brings her home for good.
