Orejas came to us through family and has lived in a residential environment. He is very people-friendly, intelligent, and affectionate with those he knows. He enjoys human companionship and has no history of aggression toward people. Orejas is one of the kindest dogs you'll ever meet. He loves being hugged, pet, and he feels most at peace when he has a trusted human next to him. He is an athletic, high-energy sporting dog who would do best with an experienced owner who can provide him structure, routine, and regular physical and mental stimulation. He has lived with 6 outdoor cats before. He respects them, sleeps with them in the same bed and dog house, loves their company, and protects them like they're part of his pack. However, he does have a high chase drive for animals that he's unfamiliar with. With the right setup, he would make a loyal, engaging companion for an active household that can meet his exercise needs and provide consistent guidance.
