Story
Hi! My name is Remi and I am a pocket sized (33 lb) orange and white...almost red...roan Brittany and I'm looking for my forever family. Check out my photos! People always tell me I'm SO handsome. I am 4 years old, neutered, up to date on my vaccines, HW negative (just went through HW treatment), microchipped, and I'm fit as a fiddle. Now that the boring stuff has been covered, let me tell you the good stuff about me . I really like to go for walks. Foster mum says I'm pretty good on a leash. Sometimes I will bark or growl at other dogs when on a walk, but I do go to daycare and get along with everyone there. It's a leash thing. I am very good at basic commands and will sit when asked and will wait for you to take off my leash or feed me etc. I am a sensitive little boy and I am looking for someone who likes to snuggle. I will happily curl up on the couch or your bed with you. I do get nervous around smaller kids and don't like loud/sudden noises, so an adult only home or home with older, considerate kids would be best. I think I'd be great with an active senior or retired couple who are home a lot so they can hang with me! I don't need another dog in the house and would be okay as your only dog. I may be nervous at first, but with your patience and some snuggles, I'm sure we will be the best of friends. So, if you think you're my new person, please fill out an application on-line at https://nbran.org/adopt/adoptionapplication.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process and will be done by your local provincial/state coordinator. This must be completed before you speak to Remi's foster mum. Remi is located in London, Ontario (115 kms/72 miles) from Port Huron, MI but transportation can be arranged up to 2200 kms (1400 miles) with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 160 kms (100 miles). Story
Please contact Marie for more information about this pet.Griff is a 2-year-old liver & white Brittany who loves prowling the yard for critters.  He loves to play with his chuckit frisbee and does very well at catching it before it hits the ground.  He knows sit, stay, come and does not jump.  His previous owner sent him to hunting and obedience training and is supposed to be a good hunter.  With the way he is in his fosters yard, he sure seems like he would be.  He is e-collar trained and has excellent recall.  He is a good rider in the car and UTV.  He is very well trained and would be an asset to any family.  Hi, I’m Griff and I am full of energy! I am looking for a home that will give me a lot of exercise with a large fenced yard so I can run and chase all the critters. I will also need off leash runs to get my energy out. When I came to my foster’s home, I wouldn’t cuddle at all, but I have learned that I really love to cuddle up on my foster’s lap in the morning while she has her coffee and sometimes in the evening.  I sleep in my own bed at night and do not even attempt to jump in my foster’s bed.  However, when their grandkids are here, I jump in bed with them and settle next to them for the night.  If I would be going to a home that has another dog, they cannot be the alpha or it will not work.  If the other dog, wants to play on my terms we will get along just fine.  I absolutely love my chuckit frisbee and need this to be thrown at least two times a day if not more.  Although I do like to play tug with my chuck it, if you ignore me, I will drop it at your feet so you can throw it again for me.  I am a very smart boy. Griff will need a lot of daily exercise with his new family and a lot of attention. Griff would be most happy in a home that has somebody with him most of the time as he doesn’t like it when he is not with you.  There should be a male figure in the household as he seems to be really attached to males.  He does not get kenneled when the fosters leave, but they do have a huge fenced in back yard that he roams when by himself.  He doesn’t try to climb the four-foot fence or dig under it.  He has anxiety and has been put on a daily pill, which has helped him tremendously with his anxiety.  He’s been checked from nose to tail and is up to date on all his vaccines, micro-chipped, neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative meds.  Now all that’s missing is his Furever Home! If you are interested in me, please fill out an NBRAN adoption application at: https://nbran.org/adopt/adoption-application and reference my name, Griff. My adoption fee is $400 to help offset the expenses associated with getting me (and other fabulous rescued Britts) in excellent condition for a fabulous new home. You do not need to live in Wisconsin, where I am currently located, to adopt me. NBRAN will transport me up to 1400 miles to my forever home. If you have further questions, please contact the Wisconsin State coordinator at minnesotabrittany@gmail.com. .  Up-to-date with vaccinations   Preferably an only dog   Good with cats-Unknown   Needs to be with teenage or older children   Good with adults   Reaction to new people: Good   Birth date: 5/21/24   Color: Liver and White   House trained-Yes   Tail: Short   Activity level: Highly Active   High energy level   Exercise needed: High   Yard required   Owner experience needed: Breed   Shedding: Moderate   Grooming: Moderate   Indoor/outdoor: Indoor and Outdoor  October 11, 2026, 7:36 pm

Story
Meet Tommy, a 4-year old neutered male French Brittany weighing about 35 pounds. Tommy is looking for a quiet home, a confident dog companion, and a heart full of patience. Tommy originally came to NBRAN as part of a large-scale owner surrender. It was immediately clear that he had spent his life outside and had never experienced the "soft life" of an indoor home. Everything—from the sound of a kitchen to the feeling of a gentle human hand—was entirely new to him. But day by day, Tommy is choosing bravery. He is a shy, submissive, and deeply sweet boy whose beautiful, curious personality blooms just a little bit more every single morning. Tommy’s ultimate happy place is the great outdoors. The moment he steps into the backyard, his inner athlete comes alive! At any given moment, you will see him doing joyful full-speed laps and figure-eights around the grass. Because of this, a physically fenced yard will be best. He relies heavily on other dogs to build his confidence. Thanks to the guidance of his foster siblings, Tommy has successfully mastered the art of backyard lounging, walking beautifully on a leash, and figuring out exactly how fun toys can be. He is also a quiet roommate and a stellar car rider who loves to follow his trusted humans from room to room just to keep them in sight. While he loves the companionship, he is not one to seek out pets. So, he will not jump up on your lap and cuddle with you. He is still actively coming out of his shell and we do expect this to change once he is fully comfortable and completely trusts his human. Tommy is now enjoying the softness of his dog bed, and loves to curl up in it. He'll collect all his toys and even other random items, like a pinecone or shoe to stockpile into his bed. He listens though, and will drop the things he is not supposed to have. To help Tommy keep thriving, his forever family must fit a few specific needs: Tommy is afraid of men and needs a quiet, low-traffic environment with preferably a female adopter. He is getting better every day with his foster dad, but it will take time and patience for him to warm up to a male. Because of his skittishness around fast movements, he should not live with young children.  At Least One Resident Dog: Tommy requires a confident canine brother or sister. He copies their behavior to learn how to navigate the human world and needs them around to feel safe. He also loves to play! A Patient Routine: Tommy thrives on predictability and needs an owner who can be home more often than not. He is fully crate trained, but he prefers his crate to be in the same room as his people or dog friends. Tommy is housebroken, however he does tend to have an accident when he gets scared. He is actively learning, and improving every day. An Important Note for Playtime: Tommy absolutely adores balls and bones! However, he recently underwent a comprehensive dental surgery where 16 teeth were removed. Because of this, he can never have hard bones to chew on. His forever family will need to spoil him exclusively with soft plushies, fabric toys, and rubber balls to protect his healing mouth.  Tommy's trust is a sacred gift that is well worth the wait. If you are ready to move at his pace and show him what a safe, loving home truly feels like, please submit an NBRAN Adoption Application and mention his name. Tommy is ready to show you the true meaning of resilience. Tommy is currently located in NC and is available for transport up to 1400 miles away, with the adopter driving the last 100 or so miles of the journey.   Tommy is heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations.  His adoption fee is $400 to help offset some of his medical costs.
