Story
A very good day to you all. My name is FROSTY and here you will find some info about me:Breed: West Highland Terrier MixAge: 1 yearGender: femaleWeight: 10 kgCountry of origin: Middle EastHighlights: gentle, calm, adaptable, cuddly, quiet Being the kind of dog who makes life feel lighter, my joy is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.Searching for a gentle, social, and low-maintenance companion?I am ready to melt your heart and show you how wonderful life can be.Found wandering the streets alone and unsure, life was a bit of a mystery until the shelter stepped in and rescued me.Phew! Even after everything that happened during those lonely days, my spirit remained gentle and sweet.Being rescued wasn’t just the end of a hard chapter; it was the beginning of a wonderful dream coming to life.Wonderful with women, men, children, and other dogs alike, I exude a calm and friendly attitude.Connecting with people is my greatest desire! You'll find me to be a soft-hearted girl who loves to ride in the car without any stress. There is no chewing or excessive barking in this pup, and certainly no food-reactivity.Simply put, I am an easy-going girl who wants nothing more than a family to love me.A family looking for a sweet, affectionate soul would be my perfect match.Because I am so social and gentle, I will fit easily into most environments. All I need is a patient human to help me through my transition so I can finally feel safe and at home. Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: unknownKids: yes Fears: none observed. Please be patient assisting me in my transition.Training:Leash skills: yes. Please be prepared to continue training.House trained: yes. Please help me learn where to go in my new home. Health notes:I have been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. My adoption fee is $850.00 CAD plus applicable taxes. While our rescuers always seek a flight without a charge, there is the possibility of a passenger fee, not to exceed $300. Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or  Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be asked to pay a passenger fee on top of the cargo fee. [MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Leishmania, Heartworm, Ehrlichia, & Anaplasma, as well as Giardia, Parvo, Corona & Distemper. ##2589453##

Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to Vancouver & Toronto💟 Meet Milo! 🧃 💙 Name: Milo 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 4 years old (Born in May 2021) 💙 Weight: 5.65 kg / 12.46 lb 💙 Milo's Updates Account: @foster_zip_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped. * Is allergic to salmon, so you should check the ingredients before feeding any kibble or treats. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * While at the Gimje City Shelter, Milo always had a sad expression and would sit quietly in a corner. He seemed to be scared — whenever someone approached, he would quickly retreat and hide. To prevent his fear and stress from worsening, Adogs rescued him. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is shy around strangers and feels uncomfortable with sudden touches — he may yawn or lick his lips when uneasy. Feels more uncomfortable with middle-aged females than males. Among his foster family members, he seems to feel particularly uncomfortable around the mother but the relationship with her is improving step by step. Once he becomes familiar with someone, he allows cuddles and belly rubs, gives kisses, and even enjoys being held. When he feels affectionate, he gently boops with his nose and gazes lovingly at you. Expresses his affection to foster parent by exposing his tummy. It is important to take time to allow him to open up. * With Dogs: Tends to have no interest in other dogs whom he encountered at his foster home. Was aloof but got along with other dogs without trouble at our center and dog school. * With Cats: Shows no interest in cats. * Separation Anxiety: Displays no signs of separation anxiety. * Potty Training: Uses pee pads and artificial grass indoors. Never goes on a pad that’s already been used and folds it — he’ll wait for a clean one. Poops every 2 to 3 days. Tends to eat his poop, so it would be better to clean it up right after he potties. * Hygiene: Is a little scared when sprayed with the showerhead, but overall handles baths well and doesn’t mind the use of a hair dryer. Enjoys being brushed, and when in a good mood, he will even lie down comfortably during grooming. However, he doesn’t like his paws being touched, so there’s a chance he might give a warning punch (using his mouth) during nail trimming. It’s best to hold him securely and clip the nails quickly. * Walks: Is a little scared of the outdoors, and had a panic attack previously. Is currently getting training indoors for walking. During leash training indoors, when the leash is tugged briefly to signal for him to go, he runs straight to another space and then runs back to his dog bed. Feels nervous and pants when people try to stop him during such time. Has been more resisting the leash lately, so we paused the walk training for now. * Car Sickness: No motion sickness. Stays calm and quiet in a kennel during travel. * No biting behavior. * Rarely barks. When he wants to drink water or needs to potty, he whines a little. Whines at his foster parent as a signal to clean up after he potties. Sometimes barks timidly at the parents of the caregiver. * Enjoys relaxing alone in his kennel. Is a true treat lover — meats like boiled chicken breast and duck jerky are his favorites! * Sudden movements or unexpected touches can startle him. Especially when a stranger tries to hold his feet, he may growl and snarl his lips. When strangers try to hold him for more than a minute, he will make potty accidents. Is very sensitive to outside noises when he’s indoors and he growls. During training, if he gets stressed, he pees and runs away. Is sensitive about having his paw touched, so he’s undergoing desensitization training.

Hello, Hola!!! My name is Hansel and you can find info about me below.Age: 6 monthGender: maleWeight : 7 lbsCountry of origin: MexicoHighlights: curious, eager to learn, playful. As a curious little tyke, I enjoy checking out what is going on in the world. My sister Gretel and I, as tiny and young as we are, were left together abandoned in a box. We were left in a  gas station parking lot, where horrible things could have happened to us. Happily, we were discovered by a rescue that took us in, thankfully, where we are safe and looked after. We hope we can come to Canada and have a home where we can grow and be secure and loved. And I'm thinking how wonderful it would be if we each got a home and didn't live to far apart where we can have family playdates. Oh, that would be wonderful if we could still visit each other. I also ride well in cars. I am good with other dogs, cats, kids, grandma, nephews, whoever. I'm just a friendly guy.I do not need a yard, but it would be a bonus, I can live in an apartment. Please be patient and caring as I learn to walk on leash. We are both hoping to find our "happily ever after". And if you want double the fun, you could adopt us both. There is a discount for that. Wink. Energy : moderate, but I'm still a pupI get along with :Dogs: yes Cats : yes Men, women, and kids: yes Training:Leash skills: very little.
