Story
KIRBY – Male Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier & Poodle Mix | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 | 50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Meet Kirby, the handsome fluffball with a heart made of sunshine! At just 2 years old, Kirby is playful, affectionate, and endlessly joyful. He’s the kind of dog who lights up a room the moment he bounces in. With his soft, wavy coat and bright, curious eyes, Kirby brings a perfect balance of sweetness, silliness, and smarts. He loves people, loves adventure, and loves being part of whatever you’re doing.   Owner Responsibilities: Kirby thrives with structure, exercise, and engagement. He’ll need: Daily walks & playtime Mental stimulation (training, toys, enrichment games) Grooming to keep his soft coat healthy Patience, consistency & love Provide him with routine and bonding time, and he’ll become your devoted companion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Kirby: Do you have time for daily exercise and interaction? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared for a medium-energy dog with a big heart? Do you have stability (no sudden moves or restrictions)? Are you ready for a lifetime commitment — through every season of life? A dog is forever family. Vet Care: Kirby is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Even so, please take him to your personal vet ASAP after adoption to establish ongoing care and ensure his long-term wellness. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifetime Commitment: First 3 days: Kirby decompresses, observes, and adjusts to new smells and sounds. First 3 weeks: He starts learning your routine, forming trust, and feeling secure. First 3 months: His heart opens fully — this is when he truly knows he’s home. Adoption is forever, and Kirby will give his whole heart in return. Why Kirby Would Be a Great Addition: Kirby is a gentle, joyful, forever-loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth and laughter. His loving spirit, happy energy, and desire to bond deeply make him a dog who doesn’t just join your home — he completes it. He’s the kind of friend who reminds you daily how beautiful unconditional love can be. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Story
I am Brave Nani and I came to Colorado from Texas. I was SO scared when I arrived (you can see how scared I was in the video of my first time sitting in my foster mommy's lap). I have learned so much from my furry, foster siblings and my foster humans. I have learned that there are good humans that love me and will cuddle me gently like I deserve, speak with gentle voices, provide me with regular, tasty food and treats, and let me go potty and hang out in the backyard with the rest of my pack. I am much more comfortable resting with my human and furry pack now. My foster mommy says I am officially a dog meaning I have become comfortable with dog things like walking past my humans going through doorways, with my humans walking around, and hanging out on the bed with my pack, humans and / or furry. I actually walk on a leash in Lowe's with my emotional support dog (my furry sibling and mentor, Boulder). My foster mommy says I am SO brave and making such great progress, but I will need a patient, quiet household with experienced dog owners and a confident sibling that loves to play and cuddle.

Novo and his brother Goode arrived in Colorado on Dec 6th. They are originally from Oklahoma. Novo is believed to be Airedale terrier-doodle mix. He attended an adoption event and he loved meeting all the people and their dogs. He loved meeting Santa too! Novo does well with other dogs (and is attached to his brother) so a home with another dog would be ideal for him. He is a strong dog and would appreciate an adopter with basic knowledge of commands and training. Apply to meet this boy today!
