Story
Meet Zoie. She is a sweet and loving Wheaten Terrier mix with a heart as soft as her long and curly white coat. Zoie is a confident medium sized girl who brings just the right balance of affection and independence to her day-to-day life. She is about 1.5 years old and weighs 33 pounds which makes her an ideal companion for a variety of home settings. Zoie has a medium energy level and enjoys being active without being overwhelming. She does well with other dogs and would love a canine companion to share playtime and companionship, but she can do well as the only dog too. She is a friendly pal to children that will interact with her and give her lots of attention. Her relationship with cats is currently unknown. This beauty is house trained and is currently working on her crate training, but she is showing great progress as she continues to learn routines and structure. Zoie is also able to walk on a lead like a dream in motion which makes daily walks and outings an enjoyable part of her routine. Her confident nature helps her take new experiences in stride especially when supported with positive reinforcement. Although Zoie is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Zoie is searching for a forever family who will appreciate her gentle and affectionate personality and continue helping her grow into the best version of herself. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will brighten your days with quiet sweetness and loving devotion Zoie may be the perfect match for you.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Zoie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. Story
Can only be adopted in Texas Looking for a trusty sidekick to go on adventures with? A shaggy dog who'll never leave your side and will cuddle up with you to get through the long night? Well, look no further than Maya! This sandy, shaggy, terrier will sweep you off your feet and will make everyday feel like an adventure! Her honey eyes will always be sparkling to see you wherever you go and whenever you get back home! Maya is going to thrive as an only dog and would do best in a home that does not have a lot of doggie traffic coming and going. She likes her quiet life and she loves her person. Like most diva's she is not one to share her toys, people or space! Maya is the type of girl who would love the simply country lifestyle. Sitting on the porch with her person, afternoon strolls on the backyard. Really the quiet, relaxed, laidback kinda gal. Maya is a medium-sized dog (20-59#). Local adoption fee $200 (in TX)
