Meet Yeti! Yeti’s journey hasn’t been the easiest. He came to us after ending up at animal control and sadly, no one came to claim him. We were warned he might be a bit jumpy and nippy with new people but we quickly realized that this was likely due to fear and the stress of shelter life. Over time, we got to know the real Yeti a smart, scrappy boy who gets easily overstimulated and needs a little structure to thrive. 🐕 Yeti doesn’t love meeting people head-on indoors — but introduce him outside, on his terms, and you’ll see his goofy, loyal side shine. 🐶 He plays well with other dogs in playgroup and has a few doggie friends here. 🏡 He’s looking for a home with experienced dog people who understand body language, respect boundaries, and are willing to advocate for him around strangers. Their adoption fee is $200, plus an additional $60 that includes six months of heartworm prevention. The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption. 📧 Interested in learning more about Yeti? Well, look no further than Maya! This sandy, shaggy, terrier will sweep you off your feet and will make everyday feel like an adventure! Her honey eyes will always be sparkling to see you wherever you go and whenever you get back home! Maya is going to thrive as an only dog and would do best in a home that does not have a lot of doggie traffic coming and going. She likes her quiet life and she loves her person. Like most diva's she is not one to share her toys, people or space! Maya is the type of girl who would love the simply country lifestyle. Sitting on the porch with her person, afternoon strolls on the backyard. Really the quiet, relaxed, laidback kinda gal. Maya is a medium-sized dog (20-59#). Local adoption fee $200 (in TX)

Story
Doug is 9 years old. Overall he’s been a great dog. Over the past few years he will have signs of aggression. He has never bit anyone or any other animal. But, has barked and snarled at us. This typically happens once or twice in a month, if he has an incident like this he is very remorseful afterwards. However this has made us a little concerns to have around young children. We feel like he needs a place he can get a bit more exercise, and an experienced owner/trainer. Happy to answer any question about Doug.
