Story
Trip was found abandoned on the side of a highway with a badly injured back leg that eventually had to be amputated. Because he was already an older dog, his chances weren't looking good. But then he met Sam, my Alaskan Malamute, and they became inseparable almost immediately. They've been best friends ever since, and I'm hoping to find a loving home where they can stay together.Trip is a sweet, mild-mannered couch potato who still has a surprising amount of energy despite his age and having only three legs. He loves raw bones, coconut, and being carried. When he gets tired on walks, he'll simply stop and stare at you until you pick him up. He's a wonderful dog with so much personality and love to give.Unfortunately, life has become difficult, and I can no longer reliably provide the care these two deserve. Finding them a safe, loving home together means everything to me. I'd be incredibly grateful for occasional updates so I can know they're happy and loved.
