Mele is an amazing dog who has been so loved for the past 3.5 years. We found her abandoned at a west side beach when she was about 4 months old, and she’s been part of our family ever since. Mele loves running, playing, swimming, and chasing waves, but her favorite thing is cuddling and being loved on! She has a beautiful brindle coat, a white chest, and four white paws. She’s food-motivated, a great listener, and eager to please. She can be shy with new people but does well with other dogs. She can be territorial and reactive around her fence line and can jump at least 4 feet, so a secure yard and a family who understands her needs are important. Mele has so much love to give, and we want to find her a home filled with love, adventure, and cuddles. I was adopted and thought I had found my forever home, but when my family moved overseas, I wasn’t able to go with them and found myself back at the shelter. It wasn’t my choice, and it wasn’t because I did anything wrong. I’m simply hoping someone will give me another chance at the forever home I deserve.
