Frieda is a 4.5-year-old female shepherd mix with a story as special as her smile. She came to us all the way from a high-kill shelter in Texas, where her time was nearly up—but thanks to some wonderful folks down South, she made her way here and is now happier than ever! With her white-and-brown coat, delightfully uneven ears, and permanently smiley mouth, Frieda is truly one of a kind. She’s a very happy girl with a big zest for life and loves being wherever the action is—whether that’s hanging out with people or romping around with other dogs. Frieda LOVES to play! She’s always ready for a game of chase or tug and does best with dogs similar to her size, as her play style leans a bit dominant and enthusiastic. She’s also a big fan of toys and will happily settle in with a good bone to chew. Because of her high energy, Frieda would do best in a home without cats. She gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids. She’s potty-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic manners—though she sometimes gets so excited she forgets to use them! Frieda would thrive in an active home looking for a happy, energetic, and enthusiastic companion. If you’re searching for a dog who brings joy everywhere she goes, Frieda just might be your girl!

This little guy came to us as a transfer from another shelter with his sibling after living life as a stray. At such a young age, all he’s really known is shelter lif, big noises, busy days, and not nearly enough hugs.He hasn’t had much training or socialization yet, but what he does have is a tender heart that just needs time. When you meet him, you can see it. He’s a bit unsure, but he’s quietly soaking up every kind word, gentle touch, and reassuring “good boy.”He’s looking for a patient, loving home that will help him build confidence at his own pace. With consistency, kindness, and lots of praise, this sweet pup is going to blossom into a wonderful companion.If you have room in your heart for a dog who needs a little extra love to feel safe, he’s ready to learn what it means to be truly home.

He came to us from another shelter with his sibling after living as a stray, and most of what he knows so far is a world that’s loud, unfamiliar, and a bit scary. Because of that, he’s still figuring out how to be a puppy.He doesn’t know commands yet and he’s still learning how to trust, but he’s full of quiet potential. When you sit with him, he watches closely, leaning into kindness and soaking up reassurance in his own gentle way. Every soft voice, every treat, every kind word helps him take one more step forward.He’s looking for a calm, patient home that understands confidence takes time. Give him love, consistency, and a little space to grow, and he’ll show you just how special he is.
