😽😽Cat Friendly😽😽 Have you peeked outside lately? It’s starting to look a lot like Spring!! 🌸🌼🌷 The daisies 🌸🌸 will be coming up soon in all their glory. But WE have a Daisy that has already bloomed! She is ready to be ‘picked’. Look at this darling. Daisy Mae is an 11-month-old mixed breed of…hmmm, do you have a guess? Maybe Whippet? She currently weighs 31 pounds and will likely not get much bigger once fully grown. She is not only playful but also very calm and loving. Daisy Mae is house-trained and knows several commands, such as sit, paw, down, and is currently working on waiting patiently for her food. She is also crate-trained but prefers a slumber party in her person’s bed at night. She does well on a leash and would LOVE plenty of exercise. Whether it be running and playing in the backyard or a few leash walks each day. A chain-link fence may not be ideal for this little athlete, as her foster mom isn’t sure it would contain her. This fun gal gets along great with her doggie friends and is just fine with cats. Her toys of choice are those hard bones, stuffie types, balls and oh, let’s not forget her frisbee! Daisy is a young gal, so having her in a crate while the family is away will keep her safe and out of the rest of the garden, oops, home. She would thrive in a home with another playful dog of a similar energy level. Daisy Mae will come home spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Meet Dale! Dale and his buddy Chip recently found themselves homeless, so he`s now in a foster home, looking for long-term love! Dale is quite shy around new people, and he warms to women more quickly than men. He is absolutely in love with his foster mama, and we think his perfect home would be with a female who is retired or works from home! Dale struggles with separation anxiety and is happiest when he is by his foster mom`s side. He`ll make such a wonderful companion for someone seeking a little velcro-dog! He`s affectionate and snuggly - the perfect lap dog. Dale is great with other dogs and with cats, too. He`s learning to trust other people and is gaining confidence in his foster home. Dale is 7 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He is housebroken with supervision. He does not care for his crate, but he is not destructive when left out of it.
