Meet Brooks (previously known as Biscuit!) 🤍 | 1-Year-Old Whippet Mix | 37 lbs Brooks is a sweet, joyful, medium-sized Whippet mix who loves car rides, yard time, stuffies, and ending the day with snuggles. He’s potty trained, crate trained, great with other dogs, and friendly with people. He’s also an enthusiastic walker — he does pull a bit on leash, but nothing wild. Because we want to set him up for success, we’re being upfront about the kind of home where he’ll truly thrive. Brooks (previously known as Biscuit) is a young, energetic dog who is still learning how to channel all that enthusiasm. He’s fun, goofy, and affectionate — but he’s definitely not a low-energy, “easy button” dog just yet. Here’s what to know: • Very energetic and loves attention • Bold, enthusiastic play style • Dog-friendly, though his intensity can be a bit much for some dogs with lower tolerance to energy! • Would do best in a home without cats or small animals due to a high prey drive • Can be an excited greeter so would benefit from continued positive reinforcement for all paws on the ground • Likely not the best fit for homes with small children but would love a home with older children. Brooks would thrive with an experienced, active adopter who understands young dogs, can provide structure, and is willing to continue helping him learn appropriate play and boundaries. With guidance, consistency, and plenty of outlets for his energy, this sweet, silly boy has so much potential to be a fun, deeply engaging companion. Meet Chip! At just 12 pounds, Chip is perfectly sized for your lap. This sweet little 7 year old mixed-breed found his way to us after he and his buddy Dale became homeless. Chip gets along well with other dogs, and he loves people of all ages! He is housebroken with supervision, but doesn`t care for his crate. Chip is a well behaved, quiet guy who enjoys watching the world go by from the couch. Chip will be perfectly happy in a home with one or several people, kids (over the age of 3 - 4), and with or without another dog. He`s a pretty happy-go-lucky guy, especially once he gets settled in!

Meet Dale! Dale and his buddy Chip recently found themselves homeless, so he`s now in a foster home, looking for long-term love! Dale is quite shy around new people, and he warms to women more quickly than men. He is absolutely in love with his foster mama, and we think his perfect home would be with a female who is retired or works from home! Dale struggles with separation anxiety and is happiest when he is by his foster mom`s side. He`ll make such a wonderful companion for someone seeking a little velcro-dog! He`s affectionate and snuggly - the perfect lap dog. Dale is great with other dogs and with cats, too. He`s learning to trust other people and is gaining confidence in his foster home. Dale is 7 years old and weighs 15 pounds. He is housebroken with supervision. He does not care for his crate, but he is not destructive when left out of it.
