Meet Artemis (aka Boo) Mixed-breed pup Artemis is about 1 year old. BOO! Sweet girl Artie (aka Boo) came into the facility rather timid/fearful and not seeming to have had much experience on a leash, but she has a good attitude, loves the attention she is getting from volunteers and is learning quickly. AWW! Came into the shelter with buddy Sully (Charlie), an adoptable miniature Aussie. The two show no food aggression, often taking one treat with both mouths at the same time. They don't show a great deal of bonding to each other, though, so we are planning to adopt them out separately. LOVES KIDDOS! Came from a home with children and let them hang all over her. LOTS of LOVE! Getting some TLC and routine vet care and will be available for adoption soon. MEET/ADOPT! Call 913-684-4939 to schedule an appointment. Visit at 510 Organ Ave. 11-4 MWF. We don't know what breeds of dog Artie is -- whippet is listed just because she is about that size (about 30-40 pounds) and when she bounds across the play yard, she reminds us of a greyhound. This pretty girl could be a mix of lab, pointer, terrier, all of the above, who knows...

I have a High prey drive. I am a very determined chewer. I’m very loving. I am a very active and energetic dog. I am 2 1/2-3 years old. I’m looking for someone who is active without other pets or with larger dogs. I require small kibble. I have really bad separation anxiety.i love to lay with my human and cuddle and get pets and attention.
