Story
Darby is a 4 (almost 5) year old female Whippet who has brought our family a lot of joy. She is a sweet dog who is very quick and loves a good snuggle and/or nap. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed (she has had nine puppies in the past). She is trained and uses a doggy door to go outside to potty. She is generally good with kids, but she has recently been reactive to our young children (2 &5), which is why we have to search for a new home. She will probably be okay with older kids who know know to respect her space better than toddlers do. She is good with other dogs, but I am unsure about cats. She has an AKC certified pedigree and is OFC registered. We are asking $600, but are happy to negotiate price/rehoming fee.

Story
Jovie is a 4-year-old Lab/Greyhound mix that we adopted as a puppy from the Louisville ASPCA. She was originally rescued from the floods in Eastern Kentucky, and she’s been a loved part of our family ever since. Over the last few years our lives have changed a lot — we welcomed a baby, are expecting another soon, and recently relocated. With everything going on, we’ve realized that Jovie needs more exercise, engagement, and one-on-one attention than we’re able to give her right now, and we want to find her a home where she can truly thrive. Jovie is very smart, affectionate, and incredibly kind with people; she's been great with our child. She has a lot of energy and does best when mentally and physically engaged. Like many smart dogs, she can become anxious or reactive when bored or overstimulated, so she would do best with an experienced owner who can give her consistent activity and structure.
