Story
Benjy is a 7 year old dog, birthday 4/8/2019. He has always been a great dog, we have had him since he was 8 weeks old, and never had any problems with him. About 3 1/2 months ago, my neighbors got chickens and the rooster keeps getting out. He got fleas and come to find out hes severely allergic. He is on Nexgard Plus (he will come with 4 months worth), Frontline Gold, Advantus, Capaction, etc. The flea medication is killing the fleas after they bite him but he is allergic. Every bite causes hours of itching, him ripping up his skin, and hes not sleeping. We have spent a lot of money of pesticides and IGRs for outside but because of the stray cats, and birds we cant get rid of them. We need to rehome him or we are going to have to put him down because at this point this is torture. The animal shelter said they will put him down too if we surrender him. I do not want any money for him, I just want him to go to a good home that will love him as much as we do.
