Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Bonnie 🌼🐾💛 I’m a sweet, gentle girl with a soft heart and a loving personality. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but I just like to take my time getting to know new people. Once I trust you, though, I am all yours—loyal, affectionate, and always excited to see you when you come home 🥰 I love being near my people and will happily hang out wherever you are. I’m not overly clingy, but I like knowing you’re close. I have great leash manners, get along with everyone I meet, and I’m growing more confident every day. I’m the kind of dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds and just wants to feel safe, loved, and included. My story is a special one. I had puppies of my own, but sadly, they didn’t make it. Not long after, I met Clyde—a tiny bottle baby kitten who didn’t have a mama. Something just clicked between us, and I took him in as my own. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. I watch over him, and he brings out a brave, happy side of me. We truly help each other feel safe. My ideal home would be a patient, loving family who understands I may need a little time to open up fully—and who would consider keeping me with my best friend Clyde. Together, we bring out the very best in each other. A little note from my foster: Bonnie is such a gentle, loving soul. Her bond with Clyde is incredibly special—it’s pure, healing, and something truly beautiful to witness 🌷🐾💛 I am a bonded pair with Clyde the Cat! Adoption FEE: $400, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Pinky 🐾 I’m a 9-year-old wire-haired terrier and an easygoing, sweet guy who just wants to enjoy life with my people. I’m calm, loving, and loyal, and I get along great with dogs of all sizes and kids, too. I don’t bark much, I’m well-mannered in the home, and I’m already crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and non-destructive—basically the full package 💛 I may be a senior, but I still have plenty of life in me! I absolutely LOVE long walks—this is when I really come to life. I also enjoy playing a bit and then coming home to relax and unwind. I’m just as happy being active as I am being your laid-back couch companion. I’m still learning a few things like basic commands and navigating stairs (they can be a bit tricky for me), so a home with minimal stairs would be best. I’m also working on getting up on the couch, but I’ll get there with a little help! My ideal home would be calm and loving, with someone who is home more often than not. While I can be left alone, I really thrive when I have company and a consistent routine. I’d do great in an apartment or a house, especially with a yard or access to places where I can enjoy my walks. I’d be happy in a small family or a home with other pets—as long as there’s love and a peaceful environment. A little note from my foster: Pinky is truly the definition of an easy, sweet companion. Give him some walks, a ball to chase, and a calm home, and he will absolutely thrive 🐾💛 Adoption FEE: $150, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. Story
If you're looking for a high-energy, feisty, confident, playful, take charge leader of a dog, 10 pound, 12 week old puppy, then Cricket is the fella for you! Cricket appears to be a long haired Jack Russell Terrier who loves chasing anything that moves. He is one of 5 dogs surrendered to our rescue by an owner who had to enter a nursing home. He is great with the volunteers at the rescue, but is cautious and nervous when first meeting new folks. Because of Cricket's over-exciement, sometimes snappy nature, he is currently not safe with small young children. Cricket's adoption fee is $250. His neutered, chip, vaccination appointment is May 21, but we are now accepting applications to adopt. Applications to adopt are at kathisk9s.org Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants

Story
Tammy is one of 5 dogs that were surrendered to our rescue when their owner had to be taken to a nursing home. They are all decompressing at the rescue and learning how to trust others. Tammy is very shy and timid. When she first arrived, she would hide in the corner. Now she runs out to eagerly greet her foster mom. This girl appears to be a rat terrier, Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 2 years old, and weighs about 14 lbs. Tammy gets along fine with the other dogs in the rescue. We have no idea how she is with small, young children. May 21 is her spay, chip, vaccination appointment and she'll be ready to go after that. Her adoption fee is $200. Applications to adopt are at kathisk9s.org Meet greets are scheduled only for approved applicants
