Story
Hi, my name is Sandy.  Some call me Super Sandy because I am such a great girl.  Others call me Sheriff Sandy, as I have made it my job to patrol the yard when I hear a noise.  We have a nice fenced-in yard with lots of room to run and a doggie door in the back door.  That makes it very easy for me to do my self-appointed job.     Only a few weeks ago, I was a homeless girl abandoned in a neighborhood behind a veterinary clinic.  This nice lady took me to the vet.  They agreed to help me and let me stay there.  After my photo session for my online post, the staff called Critter Cavalry.  Now I am the lucky one enjoying life in a wonderful foster home.  It is amazing how quickly things can change. When I am not on patrol, I enjoy time with my foster brothers and sisters.  We have lots of room to play outside and room inside to relax.  I am fitting right in.  Not long after I arrived, my foster mom came home with a little scruffy boy who was also abandoned.  We shared our stories and became fast friends.  He has been adopted.  Now it is my turn.   I would love an active family that spends time outdoors.  It would also be great if they had children and another dog for me to play with.  Since I do like to patrol, a fenced-in yard is a must.  I also tend to bark when I hear noises.  Because of that, apartment life is definitely not for me.  I ride well in the car and walk ok on a leash.  I could use a refresher course in that.  I am very smart and catch on quickly.   To learn more about me and to request an application, please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  I am currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  January 13, 2026, 6:14 pm

Story
Cali-Marie is amazing. I’m a foster parent with the county, however, I don’t want to put her in the shelter. We found her as a puppy. I know a lot of ppl are not patient with a puppy so I decided to keep and train myself to make sure the transition to a permanent home was smooth. I took it upon myself to get her accustomed to routines, health up to date, and trusting ppl. It was not a permanent placement. I tried to explain this to the shelter but I’d have to surrender, uproot her to a shelter and then I would not be able to house her at all until a suitable home is located. She doesn’t deserve this. She’s ready for a loving home with plenty of space or a back yard as she has energy. Just looking for her forever home

Story
Meet Lady! This sweet girl’s story starts with heartbreak - dumped in a neighborhood and too scared to let anyone near her for three long days. It’s clear life hasn’t been kind to her. She’s had babies, probably been let down more than once, and learned the hard way that not all humans are safe. But even after all that… she still chooses love! Now safe in a foster home, she’s showing her gentle, loyal heart. She loves her people (especially older kids) and once she trusts you, she’ll love you with everything she has. She’s laid back, crate-loving, respects our cats, and just starting to believe she’ll never be left behind again. We think she is around 6 years old, and a Jack Russell terrier mix of some sort! We will continue working on her confidence and sharing love with other dogs - but one things for sure: she’s already a keeper. Quiet, gentle and learning to trust again - she is going to make an amazing companion. Interested parties must complete an adoption application on our website. Breed, age, and size are not guaranteed.
