Being an older fella, Newton has some very bad teeth and needs to have them removed. A specialist would have to preform the surgery and it's very expensive to have done. A member of FORAS (Friends of Oak Ridge Animal Shelter) has been going with him to his appointments and hopefully they'll be able to help pay to have them removed. If not, his potential adopter will need to keep this in mind if they adopt this sweet boy.Here is what one of Newton's favorite volunteers has to say about him..."He has the sweetest energy I have ever met in a dog, so calm, so loving, so gentle. He loves taking his time and smelling all the roses and adores sun bathing. He would make a fantastic companion for someone with a chill and low key lifestyle, especially for someone who might struggle with walking larger/stronger dogs.
