eet Ranger! This 10-pound, 2-year-old Jack Russell/Chihuahua mix (best guess) hasn't had an easy start. He was found near a taco shop, scavenging for scraps, with one eye severely damaged. After ending up in the shelter, we knew we had to step in and give him the second chance he truly deserves. Ranger is currently being fostered with other dogs and has a bit of that 'little man' personality-but once he trusts you, he melts into the sweetest, most loyal cuddle buddy. He's learning what it means to feel safe: living in a home, having consistent meals, and not having to fight just to survive. He's looking for someone patient and kind-someone willing to show him love and help him continue adjusting to the good life. In return, Ranger will give you unwavering loyalty and companionship If you're ready to change his world, he's ready to change yours. Transport Available! We offer bi-weekly transport options to: East Coast: Louisiana, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Vermont, Rhode Island Pacific Northwest & Mountain Region: Idaho, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, Montana Midwest: Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa We welcome and encourage out-of-state adopters and will assist in coordinating transport at a reasonable cost.

She currently weighs about 19 pounds and is expected to grow into a medium-to-large sized love bug. Lucy can be a little gentle and reserved when first meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and shows her affectionate, playful personality. She loves playing with her furry siblings and enjoys being part of the action. She does wonderfully with cats, dogs, and children, making her a great fit for many types of homes.
