Story
Benny was originally born into the rescue in November of 2019 to two GSP mixes, Jack and Diane. Benny was adopted with his brother, Bo, and recently returned due to the owner moving. Benny is a very sweet boy who has the loving and sensitive German Shorthaired Pointer personality. He currently lives at a boarding and daycare facility and does well with other dogs, although he would be best in a home without small dogs or dogs. He is approximately 55 lbs. He also does great with children. Benny is a great dog who deserves to be in a home. He is potty-trained and is crated overnight, but he would prefer not to be. He likely would not be a good candidate in a home that would require frequent crating. Benny is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, on HW prevention, and will come with a Seresto collar.

Russell is a sweet, nervous boy who needs slow introductions to new people. He’s looking for an experienced, calm adopter who can help him feel safe and continue his confidence-building training. Russell gets along well with easygoing dogs here at the shelter and he would like to meet any in the home beforehand. Recommend an adult only home.If you’re the kind of person who believes in helping a shy dog shine, Russell is ready to meet you—at his own gentle pace.
