Friendly, outgoing, and full of enthusiasm, Leah loves meeting people. Whether it's someone she knows or a stranger, she's always happy to stop and say hello. She has an open, confident personality and fits easily into new situations.
Leah is house-trained and walks beautifully on a leash. You can take her just about anywhere; she is great in the car, comfortable on busy streets, and loud noises don't bother her.
She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a real talent for making friends, even with dogs who can be a little bossy or less welcoming. Size, age, or gender doesn't seem to matter to her. Leah is also very playful, so if you are looking for a companion and playmate for your dog, she would be hard to beat. She is smart, curious, and loves a fun challenge. In her foster home with three other dogs, Leah was the only one who figured out how to get treats out of a new toy.
Leah would be a wonderful addition to a family with children or another dog and would love to be included in everyday family life, from walks and outings to just hanging out at home. She is also fine with cats.
