You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rigby was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas and safely arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on Friday, 5th December 2025. He’s now warm, safe, and patiently waiting for the family who will love him forever.  We post our adoptable dogs across the East Coast and Canada so we can reach as many amazing adopters as possible and match each dog with their perfect home Please note: We do not transport dogs. Approved adopters will schedule an appointment for a meet-and-greet at People 'n' Pets, Freeze Dried Goodies & Gear in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, where you’ll get to meet Rigby in person — and hopefully take home your new best friend. We do not know the exact breed of our dogs. He has this gentle little head tilt that makes him look like he’s truly listening to every word you say — it’s impossible not to fall for him. Waylon is a tender, humble boy who just wants to be close to his people. He’ll quietly follow you around, happy to be near you and share in whatever you’re doing. He starts off a bit shy, but once he trusts you, he opens up into the most loving, loyal little shadow. Waylon does wonderfully with kids, loves other dogs, and even does well with cats, making him an easy fit into a wide variety of homes. He’s already crate trained and picking up on new routines and commands fast — he truly wants to please. He’s neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find a family who will cherish his gentle heart and lovable personality. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left with the dog.
