Story
Taz is a one of a kind and mostly hairless.  Not sure which of the hairless breeds she is a mix of, however, American Hairless Terrier seems the most likely, but it could be Chinese Crested or Mexican Hairless/Xoloitzcuintle.  Taz has the watchful and energetic personality of a terrier and is a top notch mouser.  Taz has a small amount of red & white wire hair on her head and face and white wire hair on the end of her tail.  She is 37 pounds of muscle and her only known history is that she was dumped on a country road and unclaimed.  Taz hints at having been a housedog in the past.  She is spayed, heartworm negative, fully vaccinated and on monthly heartworm, flea and parasite preventives.  Taz's adoption fee is a donation to the rescue in the amount of $600.April 28, 2024, 4:57 pm

Fern is a typical weird little Chihuahua girly. That being said, Please do not even bother applying unless you are AN EXPERIENCED CHIHUAHUA PERSON. NO CHILDREN for this girl. She's been through some sort of trauma and needs little of love, calm and patience to bring out her realpersonality that's been hiding.Fern would probably do best as an only spoiled rotten child to get all the attention that she's never had before, but she's playful with other tiny dogs. If you're a real Chihuahua person, you know what I mean when I say this: she will tolerate just so much loving and that's enough!!She's potty trained to go outside, but the Foster Mom said she's sure she uses to pee pads when she's not there, like her others do. She MUST be closely supervised outside because she is very small and would be predator bait.She's in an apartment now, so she'd be fine for apartment living. Leash walking? Pfft she's a designer purse pup! But yes, I'm sure she'd be ok with it if trained, but the Foster has a tiny little fenced area around her patio for her dogs and that's what she prefers.She actually is very cat friendly also! As long as the cats are dog friendly.She's fully vetted and ready to go.Apply at Madisonarf.org
