Story
Orbit is a very sweet dog a year old. He is house trained and loves people. He is big and probably not the best dog for little kids due to his size. He is good with most dogs but we would like him to go to a home where he is the main focus.

Story
Simon is a very friendly dog. He was surrendered to us by a breeder in Mexico that fell on hard times. He will need a little time to adjust to his new home surroundings. He is leash trained and house trained but might take a few days to learn your home dynamic. He does show signs that he was hit, so no strong forward movements at first (maybe no small unsupervised children) he loves his foster mom and since we got him he has shown a lot of improvement and is trusting of people.

Story
Baby xolo is a pure mini xolo. Her owner is currently in the hospital in Hermosillo and asked for our help to care for her dogs while she is unable to and rehome them. All proceeds go to the owner’s care (our choice to do this) Mom (pending) and dad are adopted and now puppies are ready to rehome. This is not technically a rescue dog and has never been abused or neglected.

Story
Hi there, future family! My name is Bruno, and I’ve been waiting for someone just like you. Life hasn’t been easy lately. My brother Hulk and I were found as strays and taken to the Yuma Humane Society. We hoped our old family would come back for us, but they never did. That was hard, but I’m not giving up hope! Now, I’m staying at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, dreaming every day about finding my forever home—a place where I can feel safe, loved, and part of a family again. Let me tell you a little about me. I’m a handsome mix of Chihuahua and Dachshund, which means I’ve got the perfect combination of charm and personality. I’m small, but my heart is HUGE! I’ve already been fixed, I’m up to date on all my vaccinations, and I’ve been microchipped so I’ll never get lost again. That’s a big relief because I never want to feel alone like that again. I’m great with kids—they make me happy and I love their energy! I also get along well with other small dogs, so if you already have a little furry friend at home, I’d probably fit right in. Big dogs? Well… they scare me a little. I’m working on being brave, but for now, I’d feel most comfortable in a home without any big pups. I want to be honest with you—I have a small wound under my eye. We’re not sure how it happened, and I keep scratching it, which makes it take longer to heal. My friends here warned me that if I don’t stop, I’ll have to wear the dreaded “cone of shame.” Yikes! I really don’t want that, so I’m trying my best to leave it alone. With a little time and TLC, I’ll be good as new. Now, about my brother Hulk—he’s awesome too! We don’t have to go to the same home, but if you have room in your heart and home for two, adopting us together would be amazing. We’ve been through so much side by side, and it would mean the world to keep that bond. But if it’s just me, that’s okay too—I’ll love you with everything I’ve got. What I really want is a family who will give me the love and security I’ve been missing. I promise to be loyal, affectionate, and your best little buddy. I’ll wag my tail when you come home, snuggle with you on the couch, and make you smile every single day. All I need is a chance. If you think you might be the one for me (or for me and Hulk!), please reach out. You can email mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment to meet me. I can’t wait to show you how sweet and loving I am in person. Maybe today is the day my dream comes true. Thank you for reading my story. I believe my forever family is out there—I just need you to find me. Could you be the one to give me the happy ending I’ve been waiting for? Love, Bruno     PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question, please ask in the e-mail.   All dogs are adopted on a first come - first served basis.
