Meet Yogi (formerly known as Fork), a stunning Xoloitzcuintli mix with a heart of gold and a resilient spirit. Yogi’s journey began in a high-kill shelter in Georgia, where he was rescued as a tiny puppy alongside his mother and brought to the safety of Big Dog Ranch. While he spent several happy years in a home, he was sadly returned through no fault of his own when his family moved away. This "velvety" gentleman is the definition of a turnkey dog: he is fully potty-trained, knows his commands, and has mastered the art of being a perfect housemate. Because he is hairless, Yogi is a dream for families looking for a clean, low-shedding companion, and he blends seamlessly into any indoor environment. However, his unique look does come with a specialized "spa" routine! He requires regular skin maintenance, including moisturizing and sun protection, to keep him comfortable and healthy. With a medium build and moderate energy levels, Yogi is just as happy going for a brisk walk as he is lounging on the sofa for a marathon cuddle session. He is incredibly social, getting along famously with other dogs and showing a gentle, patient nature with children of all ages. Yogi is more than ready to find a forever family that will cherish his beautiful personality and never leave his side again.
