Meet Batman, as his foster family lovingly calls him (formerly known as Wrench). At just 5½ months old, this sleek little superhero is already turning heads everywhere he goes. With his stunning silver-gray coat perfectly matching his piercing gray eyes, Wrench looks like he walked straight out of a movie scene. But behind those handsome looks is a story of resilience that makes him even more special. Batman/Wrench came into one of our local county animal shelter’s with a severely broken leg and several other injuries that lead us to believe he may have once been tethered to something — and possibly broke his own leg trying to escape. Despite everything he's been through, this boy hasn't let the past dim his spirit for even a second. Now that the cast is off and he’s been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered…our Batman is all healed up and ready to start the next chapter of his life: finding his forever family. Don't let his pictures deceive you! This playful, mischievous little sidekick is expected to stay on the smaller side — likely only around 35 pounds max, when fully grown — making him the perfect compact chaos coordinator for someone looking for a fun-sized best friend. He’s energetic, goofy, affectionate, and fully committed to keeping life interesting. So if you’ve been searching for a loyal companion with equal parts charm, sass, and survivor spirit… this may just be the Batman to your Robin.
