Lucy is a 12 year old Chinese Crested Chihuahua. She is the sweetest most loving lap dog. She is paper trained and house trained. She does eat a soft food diet due to teeth loss. Her owner must surrender her due to personal health concerns. Lucy would be a great addition to any home. Especially someone older who is looking for a lap dog.

Trixie Belle is shy and nervous when meeting new people, but opens up after a couple of days and becomes your shadow. She loves to be petted and get butt scratches once she trusts you and will gently paw your hand to get them. She also loves to curl up on the coach near you (although she doesn’t care to be picked up) and is perfectly content to be a couch potato most of the day. She is good with other dogs and fine with cats (stays away from them). She is a bit too nervous for children. She is already potty and kennel trained. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.

Although scared at first, Buddy is very friendly now that he's adjusted and knows a better way of life. He is a snuggle bug and gets excited when you say "who's a good boy or whistles." He knows his name and comes when you call him. He is super loving and always gives kisses. He is also curious, watching and learning what goes on in a home. He is playful and loves toys. He energetic and just might be the next Olympic gymnast the way he leaps off the ground. He's already potty trained loves the outdoors. He would benefit from being in a home with someone who is home a lot.
