Story
We are not in a hurry to place TJ as he has endeared himself, is a very happy dog and loves all his pals here. And like our other full bred young rescues we ask a high adoption fee ($750) to help the many sanctuary dogs. Some think he is a Mex Hairless and some a Chinese crested and I should probably look both up (again) so I know, though in the past I have vacillated and still cant recall what I decided!. He is named after the city we rescued him from after a large spay neuter clinic - Tijuana. TJ is great with everyone, loves cats and dogs and probably children. He is fun, loves to give massages (push you with his front paws), affectionate and lively. He is not housetrained and doesnt seem to want to learn but he will wear a band, though not a fan. That doesnt help number two but with instruction and continual training, he may just learn eventually. He is a huge favorite with everyone and has wonderful eyes, expressive and interesting, to say the least. He loves to wake up his humans in the morning. Meet sweet as candy, Toffee! Toffee came from a small hoarding situation and is now settling in at her foster home. Toffee was initially shy meeting her foster mom, but once in the home, she was eager to explore and meet the other small dogs. Follow Toffee's progress as her personality unfolds, but the initial report is that shes a sweetheart.

Story
Cocoa is one of our sweet pups rescued from a hoarding situation, and he’s already making incredible progress with his foster. He’s discovered the comfort of his crate and loves curling up in his warm bed for cozy naps. Cocoa adores being held and, although he’s still very shy, he’s clearly a lap dog in the making. Every day, Cocoa is bravely learning about the world grass, toys, cars, walks, and all the little things most dogs take for granted. He’s also working hard on his potty training and gaining confidence one step at a time. Life is still new to Cocoa, but he’s starting to realize that it’s actually pretty wonderful.
