Pouncer is a sweet and gentle soul looking for a patient and understanding forever home. Although he may take some time to warm up to new people, once he gets to know you, Pouncer is a loving and affectionate companion. He may initially bark and growl at newcomers, so a couple of meet-and-greets are highly recommended to help him feel more comfortable. Pouncer has done well with other dogs, particularly with those who have a laid-back nature like himself. However, he may not be the best fit for a high-energy canine companion. He does have some issues with his back legs, but despite this, he manages well in his day-to-day activities. Occasionally, he may experience episodes where he vocalizes discomfort and lays down, but with the right care and attention, he continues to thrive. Pouncer would thrive in a calm and adult-only home where he can receive the time and space he needs to adjust. While he hasn't been tested with cats, he generally prefers the company of humans and enjoys spending time indoors. As a sweet and loving boy, Pouncer is fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, neutered, and heartworm negative and on prevention. AVAILABLE BY APPLICATION Lego was found by himself in the county. He is a nervous little man that does take a little bit to warm up. He is not a fan of people reaching for him, but will crawl right into your lap once you get down to his level. He hates being left by himself and will howl and bark when he knows people are around but not near him. He does not like being held unless he feels completely supported and tends to put his front legs on your shoulder. He has done okay with other dogs that leave him alone, but has not been around any dogs that get up into his business yet. He does okay in a crate but does potty if left for too long. We are unsure of how potty trained he is. Lego is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative and on prevention.
