She loves to go for walks and run around in the backyard. She is potty trained but can't go past 5 hours without an accident. She goes to the door to alert you she needs to go potty. She is up to date on all vetting and recently has a dental done! She is only 8lbs. Online Adoption Application › This sweet pup, along with 13 others, was rescued from a backyard breeder and brought to Pawfect Match after enduring truly heartbreaking conditions. They had been living outdoors on dirt floors, exposed to the elements, and forced to fend for themselves. Tilly is heartworm positive Despite their difficult past, they are friendly with other dogs, having been surrounded by many. They’re also affectionate with people, though they’ve never known the comfort of a real home. These dogs will need patient, understanding adopters who can gently teach them what it means to be part of a family. They are still learning the basics—potty training, walking on a leash, and building confidence through socialization. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Iris was saved from a neglect situation in Nash County. Her soulful eyes captured our heart.  Iris is about 2 years old and a smart, scrappy, affectionate little watchdog! She is content to snuggle close, but also loves to play, and collects and cherishes her toy stuffies. Although she gets along well with submissive dogs, she would LOVE to be the one and only! Iris' left front leg has a deformity, the vet said likely it was fractured in the past and never set and healed that way. It doesn't keep her from running around in delight. Initially frightened, she's learned quickly how to live in a home around family and is learning housetraining. Spunky, happy personality, loves to take walks and explore.  No kitty friends! ************************************************************************ The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet.  All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age.  Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
