$800 adoption fee is for both pups! Meet Madea & Gumbo! This beautiful bonded pair found themselves in the county shelter due to the death of their owner. Madea & Gumbo spent several days in the home with their deceased owner until they were finally discovered during a welfare check. A concerned family member reached out to SRC and put us in contact with that shelter, and the rest is history. Now completely utd on vaccines, spayed and neutered, chipped, and on prevention. These cute kids are housebroken and ready to find their family together. Madea (grey) 1 year/8 lbs. These two kids are playful in the day and snuggle bugs at night. They love to play and would be the perfect duo for any family. They would do best in a home with a fenced yard. They walk great on a leash, get along with other dogs and older children. Meet Rowdy! After spending his first few years living outdoors, Rowdy, a 3-year-old poodle mix, is finally ready to enjoy the good life indoors—complete with cozy beds, gentle cuddles, and as many belly rubs as he can handle. Rowdy is a laid-back, easygoing little guy who would thrive with a family that’s home often or one that loves bringing their furry friend along for adventures. He’s a sweet little shadow, happiest when he can follow his people from room to room just to stay close. He walks nicely on a leash and enjoys his daily strolls. Rowdy is housebroken, though he may have an accident if his cues are missed. He experiences separation anxiety and continues to build confidence through crate training. Rowdy currently shares his foster home with two miniature schnauzers and pays little to no attention to the three resident cats. He does well with children 12 and up. He has not been exposed to younger children. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side and fill your days with love and cuddles, Rowdy might be the perfect match. Latte! This handsome boy finds himself in rescue due to his families health. Now utd on vaccines, neutered, chipped, and on preventions he is ready to find his Latte is a 4-year-old Silkie terrier who is loaded with personality and energy! He enjoys running and playing in the yard. True to his breed, he has an intensely high prey drive. We found that Latte became OBSESSIVE when playing with toys, especially those that squeaked. He was hyper focused on these toys resulting in neurotic behavior and over excitement. Without squeaky toys to trigger his natural instincts, he’s a completely different dog... sweet, mellow, and affectionate. He loves to curl up in a lap or snooze in front of the fireplace. He does well with kids and other dogs. His best fit would be with an active family with or without a resident dog. He is crate trained and knows basic commands. He is mostly housebroken and will need continued consistency and reinforcement. He is a flight risk; a home with a solidly fenced yard is required.
