My husband and I adopted Augie when he was a puppy from a Facebook post of someone saying if she did not get rid of the puppies she would euthanize them. His mom was an award winning yorkie, and his dad was a purebred Pekingese. He is such a happy little guy. Barks super quietly (when he actually does bark). Loves to go on walks and to meet people. About two years after we adopted him I had a huge medical issue. (I was in the ICU for a year). During that time Augie went to live with my mother in law and she adopted him. That brings us to today: my mother in law is retiring and does not want him anymore. His teeth are in bad shape, he is lumpy (as she says) and he smells bad. So she was going to put him down. I stepped in to save him and bring him back to our house, but I cannot care for him in my disabled state. (I am now a quad amputee.) He is a cheerful guy who needs second chance at life and a home that will love him.
