Story
Meet Fernando! Fernando is a 4 month old Airedale mix weighing about 28 pounds, with lots of growing still to do, he’s expected to be a large breed dog. This sweet boy is super friendly, smart, and eager to learn, so with proper guidance he’ll pick up his basic commands quickly. Fernando is all puppy, playful, curious, and full of energy, which means he’s looking for a home ready to take on the responsibility (and fun!) of raising a young pup. He’s up to date on vaccinations and microchipped, and he’s ready to find his forever family. Come meet this sweet, lovable boy today!

Story
My name is Rokky (odd spelling I know!). I'm really smart, so I do best in a home with routines, patience and firm boundaries. I'm very loyal and the kind of dog who makes a home feel like a home. I'd prefer to be the only pet in the house because other dogs make me nervous, sometimes people too, although some Forte people gave me belly scratches the first time I met them, which I really liked. I do some resource guarding so whoever adopts me will have to be diligent about limiting access to some items. If you are interested in meeting Rokky, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. [Rokky is 5 years old and weighs 40 lbs.] (2601)

While they’ve all found their forever families, Hudson is still waiting patiently at the shelter he’s called home ever since. It's hard to believe a dog as sweet, playful, and good-looking as Hudson hasn’t received more attention! We’re hopeful that the right family is out there—one that will give him the love and sense of belonging he truly deserves. • Personality: Gentle, Friendly, Goofy Hudson can be a little reserved at first, but once he feels comfortable, he becomes curious, friendly, and affectionate. He loves to greet people with a wag and a smile! / His energy level is moderate. • Affinity with - Dogs: Hudson is social and playful with other dogs, especially those around his size. He loves to run and play! - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: Great with adults / Not tested with kids • Walking Manners: Hudson’s leash-walking skills are still developing—he’s used to roaming freely in the outdoor shelter. He follows along during walks with volunteers, though he can get a little nervous in unfamiliar places or when cars go by. • Housetrained: Hudson will need some time and guidance with house training as he adjusts to a home environment. He will probably prefer the outdoors once he has regular walks. • Bathing/Brushing: He’s a champ! He enjoys baths, brushing, and even trimming. • Car Sickness: Not tested • Separation Anxiety: Zero. • Barks/Howls: Not much • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats well. No food allergies found so far. • Shedding level (1~10): 6 • Likes/Dislikes: Hudson loves being petted and soaking up affection. • Health: A healthy pup! 💙 Adoption Fee Information The adoption fee already includes all major expenses, such as: International transportation, Customs and export documentation, Medical care (spay surgery, vaccinations, health certificate, deworming, etc.) For this reason, we kindly ask that you refrain from requesting a breakdown or negotiation of the adoption fee.
