Pet Location: Wayside Waifs Campus - Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My friends at Wayside say:-I am enrolled in Peace Academy. This is a program for dogs to learn advanced skills to manage their energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session.- I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. -I’m smart and food/treat motivated -I already know some commands!-Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained!-I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are:-I have a lot of energy and need an active adopter! -A fenced yard is a must for me! I need a secure area to run around and release my energy.-I need a home with kids 6 years old and older who will enjoy my enthusiasm for life!-I must meet other dogs in the home before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days so we can meet!Hi there! My name is Reading Rainbow, but you can call me Read for short. I’m a one-year-old Airedale Terrier, and let me tell you, I’m as smart as my name suggests! I’m a high-achieving boy who is always looking for my next challenge. Whether it’s mastering a new command or figuring out a tricky puzzle, I’m all in; especially if there are treats involved! I’m incredibly food-motivated, which makes training a total blast for both of us.I’m currently a proud student of the Peace Academy; a special training program designed just for high-energy guys like me. It’s teaching me advanced skills on how to manage my big feelings and channel my enthusiasm into focus. I love to learn and I’m always the first in class to ask for extra credit. Because I have such a busy brain, I’m a huge fan of enrichment toys; anything that makes me think and work for my reward is a win in my book.Since I’m a young Airedale, I have plenty of `get up and go,` so I’m looking for a very active adopter who can keep up with me!
