Story
Welcome Jazz to CCPAL Rescue. Jazz is a 4-year-old Airedale/Irish Terrier Mix dog. She weighs about 70 pounds and has the scruffy terrier coat. She is not a big shedder and is very friendly. Jazz had an elderly man owner. Her owner is now in hospice so CCPAL was asked to step up for his 3 dogs. Jazz had some loss of hair and is now a health and beautiful dog, thanks to good nutrition and some wonderful vet care. She pulls on leash but is eager to walk and really very social with people. She is picky with her dog friends but hasn’t met a human she doesn’t like. Her previous owner is not doing well and the only option is for all 3 of these dogs to find a new forever home. They are well behaved and have some commands under their belt. Jazz knows sit and is decent on a leash. We do think she is potty trained as she doesn’t go in her kennel. She is very attentive and naturally bonds well with men. She wants to do what you ask and can be an only or go with other dogs. She is a stronger willed than the boy named Jett. She is a wonderful dog. She has lived in a home with two large males and did great. She would be a great companion for someone wanting a active companion that is less of a shedding dog. She is currently in Texas at the CCPAL. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Meet Bella — the sweetest soul you’ll ever meet. 💛 Bella is incredibly loving and starts every morning by coming over for cuddles. She has such a gentle nature and never barks, even when all the other dogs around her are making noise. She’s active and playful when it’s time for fun, but she’s just as happy relaxing and soaking up the sun beside you. Bella is full of personality, and honestly, you can’t look at her without smiling. Bella doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body — even during playtime, she stays sweet and gentle. One of her cutest quirks is that she “talks” to you when she wants something, making her even more lovable and expressive. Bella is the perfect mix of playful, calm, affectionate, and funny. She’s ready to bring so much love and joy to her forever home. Bella lives in a foster home with adult dogs, large and small size, and two cats. She is happy to have regular meals and people that care for her. She's not a high energy puppy. You'll find her lying around her favorite people. Bella is crate trained and doing great on her house training. She loves kids! Bella is estimated at almost 5 months and weighs 26 pounds. We expect her to grow over 60 pounds and be a large dog when mature. Bella's adoption includes spay, rabies, multiple puppy vaccines and boosters, bordetella and booster, microchip, she receives monthly parasite prevention. Her sister adopted a month ago. There's almost no difference in them. We don't want this girl growing up in a foster home! She needs to bond with her family. Total adoption fee $385 $145 fee to rescue $175 to transporter $65 health check from licensed vet. Bella lives in a foster home in Birmingham AL. Her fosters are two senior women, Mom and daughter, who look forward to speaking and FaceTime/video chat with you. We have been adopting dogs to families for over 15 years. Serious Adopters should fill out the application online and we'll be in touch ASAP. Copy and paste the link into your browser. https://form.jotform.com/212574701956157

Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $200 if picked up in TN, $275 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Lacy is a one-year-old Airedale Terrier mix with a beautiful scruffy coat, a bright and curious mind, and a smile that shows up so often it is basically her signature look! This 45-pound girl is playful, smart, and surprisingly quick to figure things out, picking up the dog door instantly and arriving at mealtime without a single reminder. She plays fetch, loves a good game of tug, and has absolutely charmed everyone she has met by greeting them with the sweetest little hand lick after working up the courage to say hello. Housetrained, quiet in the car, solid on a leash, and sleeping through the night in her crate like a champ, this girl is already checking a lot of boxes! Lacy is treat motivated which makes her a great candidate for continued training, and she already has a solid understanding of come. She is a gentle and non-aggressive girl who has played happily with dogs of all sizes, and her calm curiosity around squirrels suggests she may do just fine with a cat in the home. Lacy is still building her confidence around people, so this sweet girl is a little timid about being petted, though she is already showing signs that she is going to absolutely love it once she fully settles in. A patient family who understands shy dogs will find her blossoming beautifully with time and consistency. One important note is that she is an accomplished 4 ft fence climber, so a six foot fence or leash walks are a must to keep this adventurous girl safely at home. A playful canine companion, a large yard or rural property to explore, and a kind and patient family willing to show her that people are pretty wonderful after all is really all this sweet girl is asking for. She is already smiling, and something tells us she is just getting started. To learn more about Lacy, text AARF at 931-260-8018 or visit www.aarf-tn.com today!  Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. June 7, 2026, 12:15 am
