Zippy lost her only home when her beloved owner/family member became unwell and required long-term care. She has only known love and wonderful care, she has been mourning her past but is looking forward to her future. While she is considered a "senior", she is the easiest dog to have around that you will ever meet! She currently lives with another small dog and greets dogs politely when walking on leash. Zippy is house trained and sleeps quietly in her kennel at night. True to her name, she does zip around and do zoomies in the morning, then is calm the rest of the day. Give her a chance and you will be rewarded with undying love and a new best friend and companion! The suggested adoption donation for XXX is a minimum of $$$ and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Josie, Meet 7 year old Josie! This little girl is all about her people and holds no real interest for other pets but can live with them. Sweet Josie has some situational anxiety but after awhile when she trusts will not only accept but crave love and friendship! The Adoption Fee (Tax Deductible Donation) is $175. Because she tends to get nervous her ideal forever home would include no small children but teens are acceptable to her, a calm household and people won't be gone for too long. She loves to be petted, cuddled and show off her sits, give paw, circles and play fetch. Can she be your true love? Josie would love to have a home where she can protect and love her people and wants them to do the same for her! Please note a Vet Check and Home Inspection are part of the application process. NALA Rescue is a home-based foster rescue and does not have a facility. All shots, boosters, rabies, spay/neuter, and microchip are included in NALA Rescues Adoption Donation charges.
