Hello there, I’m Alfred. I’m a skittish and fearful dog who just wants to enjoy a quiet and peaceful life. I like being near the people that I am use to, and especially going for relaxed walks with them, or settling down for a quiet rest nearby. I have a thoughtful nature and show my affection in subtle and meaningful ways. I do best in a calm environment and would be happiest in a home without small children, where I can feel safe and relaxed. Small children can just be a bit much for me, so I just wouldn`t want to go to a home with anyone too young. With patience, consistency, and a steady routine, I truly shine as a gentle companion. If I sound like a good fit for you, then come on down to the shelter and let`s meet!Medical History: Alfred is overall a healthy dog, but would still benefit from meeting their vet and getting a clean bill of health as soon as possible.Weight: ~50 lbsAdoption Fee: $200 + tax
