Story
This is Hankerson, He's a year and some change and he's a funny lil guy. We love him to bits, but cannot in good conscience keep him with us as he has a birth defect that we can't afford to fix. We're struggling super hard and are barely making above our bills and want him to go on to live with someone who has a yard and the means to get his knee fixed. He runs around fine and is strong and lean, but that knee needs fixing. He has a lateral luxating patella, which means his knee cap is permanently dislocated to the outside via a birth defect causing his body to not properly grow a channel for it to sit and glide in. Because of that, vets want a decent chunk of change to surgically fix it.
