Story
Charlie is a typical Akbash/Pyr mix, who is head strong and protective of his person. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative and microchipped. Charlie does well with the smaller dogs in the current foster home, though seems unsure of large dogs. He very much enjoys "working"...having something to do. Though we do not allow him to be an outdoor dog, he very much enjoys his time in the yard/sun. Charlie loves going for walks, but is often scared of other unknown big dogs. He is great with the cats in the current foster home, and absolutely LOVES men!!! ****Charlie is currently in foster care in DFW, so transport would need to be arranged!**** If interested in Charlie, please fill out our foster or adoption application online: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Why not me? Yes, I am a little bit older but that doesn’t stop me from being a great walking/hiking buddy. I love attention from people. I like kids and bigger dogs as buddies. In fact, I would like another dog, loveable like me in my new home. Have I told you that I am very smart and know several commands plus I’m handsome and have a short coat for easy grooming. I love to be brushed and, of course, I love treats of all kinds. You see I am almost perfect, I just don’t like cats or small dogs much. I want a FURever home so bad, maybe with a retired couple who will have the time to just love me and give me lots of attention. Please come to the rescue to meet me and take me home!!!!   A BIG 6 FOOT FENCED YARD/PROPERTY FOR HIM TO RUN AROUND AND PATROL IS A MUST!!!!!! Story
Meet Trixie!  At about 9 weeks old, this tiny but mighty girl can definitely hold her own with her siblings! Mom (Mia) is a 40 lb shepherd mix, and while Dad was said to be a Great Pyrenees, Trixie’s petite size and short coat suggest she’s got a fun mix of “something else” in there too.  Trixie absolutely loves people and is always ready to make friends — both human and furry. She enjoys romping around with her toys, wrestling with her siblings, and exploring her world with confidence and curiosity.  She’s a slow and polite eater, so she gets her meals separately to make sure her siblings don’t sneak extras from her bowl. Food manners? She’s got them! Trixie is doing great with potty pad training and is well on her way to being a smart, well-rounded pup. This sweet girl is ready to make her mark on the world — and snuggle her way into the heart of her furrever family.  If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt ##2596751##

Story
Hi, I’m Trudy! I’m almost 10 weeks old and believed to be a shepherd/hound mix. I came to Colorado from Oklahoma with my siblings, hoping to find a forever family who will love me and help me grow into my best puppy self. I currently live with my sister Tessa and our very patient adult foster dog mom, who’s teaching us all about good manners, playtime etiquette, and how to be confident, well-adjusted pups. We spend our days learning, napping, playing, and soaking up snuggles. I've adapted really quickly! I’m a bit more reserved than my sister, and my foster parents say they love the balance between our personalities. When I get excited or a little nervous, I sometimes pee — I’m still learning and working through it, but with patience and routine, I'm confident I'll improve! I sleep through the night in my crate like a champ, and I’m not very vocal (at least not yet). Luckily, my sister Tessa talks more than enough for the both of us, so I happily let her do the morning announcements. Everyone keeps telling me how beautiful and sweet I am, so I guess it must be true. I’m working hard on potty training, just like all young puppies. I feel confident I’ll get the hang of everything with consistency and encouragement. I’m affectionate, curious, social, and full of gentle puppy charm. I love feeling safe, learning new things, and being close to people who enjoy cuddling, laughing, and helping me grow.  If you’re looking for a loving little puppy who will be your loyal companion, warm your heart, and bring endless joy to your home… I’d love to be the one If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt ##2596748##

Story
Curious, cuddly, and full of puppy mischief — Tootsie is ready to steal your heart!  This 8-week-old shepherd mix is inquisitive, playful, and full of personality! She’s always exploring, wondering what’s around the next corner, but loves to curl up by your feet for snuggles when it’s cuddle time.  Tootsie has a playful streak — watch your shoestrings and ankles!  She’s learning “no,” working on potty training, and sleeps peacefully through the night. She’s a little confused and intimidated by the snow, but with a patient friend, she’ll figure it out in no time! She adores kids, gets along great with other dogs, and is ready to bring joy, laughter, and snuggles to her forever family.  Could she be the new best friend you’ve been waiting for?  If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt ##2596745##
