Story
Koda – 2.5-Year-Old Anatolian Mix | Calm, Gentle Soul Looking for a Quiet Home Koda is a 2½-year-old Anatolian mix weighing in at a perfect 50 pounds, and he is the definition of calm and steady. Whether indoors or outside, Koda carries himself with a peaceful, easygoing demeanor that makes him a wonderful companion for someone looking for a relaxed, low-key dog. On leash, Koda truly shines. He walks beautifully and naturally matches your pace, making daily strolls a pleasure rather than a chore. He is fully potty trained and understands the rhythm of home life, settling in comfortably and contentedly once he knows he’s safe. Koda is a true snuggler at heart. He loves being close to his people and enjoys quiet moments spent cuddling or resting nearby. Because of his gentle nature, Koda would do best in a calm household with no small children, where he can enjoy a predictable, peaceful environment and plenty of one-on-one companionship. Cats? No worries! Koda has lived in a home with cats and gets caught on video playing with their toys! When it comes to travel, Koda does get carsick on longer trips, but this is easily managed with Dramamine when needed. For everyday life and local outings, he does just fine and is happy simply being with his person. Koda is currently being fostered in a home in Seguin, Texas, where his calm personality and loving nature continue to shine. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who enjoys quiet walks, cozy snuggles, and a serene home, Koda may be the perfect match for you. Story
Captain is a sweet boy who is 1 - 1 1/2 years old. He is a Poodle/Great Pyrenees mix. Captainis still learning how to live life, be a dog, get used to people as well as the world around him in everyday life. Captain is shy at first and it takes a few days for him to open up and start to feel comfortable. But trust us, after he opens up you will see a whole different boy. Captain is full of love and affection and has been learning how to show it appropriately. He is for sure a pocket mouse and will often hang out where he can keep an eye on his person/people without being clingy. He is a pretty quiet and surprisingly low-moderate energy for his age, and very easy to live with. In spite of his past, his level-headedness, adaptability, and all-round great personality clearly shows. He is still learning what toys are but is catching on quickly. A favorite activity is lazing around in a comfortable spot in the yard while you do your own thing there. He loves car rides but still gets a little bit nervous loading up and an upset tummy now and again if not given a motion sickness pill. Captain is crate trained, potty trained, and does well on leash, and he is still learning new skills. We suggest a harness. Captain is also great with other dogs, cats, horses, goats, lamas, and kids. Videos of Captain are in comments below.
