Story
I adopted Elijah at a shelter. He just got neutered. He is probably a shepherd mix, very big, 80 lbs, strong as an ox. He does know how to heel, and responds a good bit of the time, but needs continual training on lead because if his size. He is very sweet, affectionate and personable, googy, and just warming up to me. But my LL will only let me have a small dog. What's more, he is not happy as a strictly an indoor dog, and wants to be outside most of the time. So much so that he broke out of my house, jumped through a screen, to get outside. ( and thus ended up at the shelter) He seems well suited as a farm dog, very diligent, needs a job. Inside, when not supervised he needs a very big strong kennel, unless you are monitoring him. He is up to date on all shots, rabies, heartworm meds, and flea and tick. Kathy. Repeat: Elijah needs a farm and a job. Prob part Anatolian Shepherd, I would guess.
