We’re searching for a very special home for our 8‑month‑old Kuvasz mix, Trooper. He’s a gorgeous, sensitive, and whip-smart. He thrives on gentle encouragement, is incredibly food‑motivated, and learned his basics in days. He’s still in the puppy‑chewing stage and needs supervision, but he’s getting braver and more confident every week as we and our trainer work with him.Since adolescence, he’s become possessive of toys and challenges our male dog. He loves to roughhouse and adores our female GSD and likes our cats. He can see dogs outside the house without being aggresive. He’s not crate‑trained yet, but he seeks out cozy spaces and may take to it well.Trooper needs a calm, predictable home with people experienced in Livestock Guardian Breeds, no young children, and no other male dogs. With structure, patience, and love, he will absolutely flourish. He’s a Kuvasz/Golden mix, but his temperament/instinct is 100% true to his LivestockGuardian Breed side, no golden traits have surfaced.s
