Story
Ruthie was born into rescue with her 12 siblings. We attempted her at farm life and her breed mix just wasn’t cut out for the job. Once we did a DNA test we figured out why. Her prey drive, specifically for birds (ducks), is far too high to be a guardian. She is the sweetest, most affectionate dog. She is very submissive but love to play. She loves to play with friends or just run around a big yard all on her own. She does well on leash and is kennel trained. She does not jump fences or gates at all but will dig if left unattended too long and she gets board. She did amazing with her first visit to a real groomer. Took her a few minutes to get comfortable but once that happened she was all about the pets and love. She loves to just lounge around outside but cannot take the heat. She is happiest in the cold. Loves the snow!!! Her Pyrenees definitely shows through in her temperature preferences. Anyone interested in this girl needs to have some kind of experience with Great Pyrenees fur sure.

Story
Reba is another one of the visitors we were housing from the Choctaw rescue fire at FurEverFriends. She is currently bunking with our amazing friends at Kannon’s Kabins for some extra hands on training and lots of fun! Reba is a big playful girl that loves fur friends to play with. She is working on leash training but is completely kennel trained. The kennel is a safe space for her. She does well with potty training but she absolutely loves being outside. Would be a perfect candidate for a doggy door where she can come and go as she pleases. She is a little timid with new people at first meet but warms up with some TLC. She needs humans to let her make the moves and slow approach helps her feel comfortable. She gets so excited her butt does big wiggles and she smiles so hard once she is comfortable. She does well for baths once in the tub. The tub was a little scary at first but she absolutely loved the rubs and scratches. She is not afraid of rain or water. We can’t wait to see how she likes pools! She has been around horses and donkeys with no issues at all. She can clear a 4 foot gate if she pleases so she should have 6 foot or taller fences. She is a happy loving girl hoping for the perfect forever home that will be patient with her and show her humans can be good to her. Reba is bunking with our amazing friends at Kannon's Kabins in edmond. If you would like to meet Reba please fill out the adoption application at this link: https://form.jotform.com/250915848688172

Story
Bear is a calm, gentle soul with a strong will and a heart as big as his size. This big guy craves structure and will thrive in a home that can provide him with leadership, routine, and plenty of love. With the right guidance, Bear is sure to become a loyal, steadfast companion who will be by your side through thick and thin. Bear is crate trained and appreciates having a safe, comfortable space to call his own. While he’s laid-back and easygoing, he does need boundaries to help him be his best self. As of now, he’s not too fond of cats, chickens, or other small animals, so a home without them would be ideal. His dog test is still pending, and we’ll continue to update his bio as we learn more about his preferences and behavior with other pups. Bear is a dog with great potential, and with a patient, structured environment, he’s bound to blossom into a loving, devoted family member. If you’re looking for a calm, strong-willed companion who just needs a little guidance to thrive, Bear may be the perfect match for you!
