Story
COTTAGE GROVE, OREGON: PET HOME ONLY
Please review Bosco's bio before reaching out.
Bosco is a 4-year-old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd in need of a new home as a pet. He was originally raised as a livestock guardian and is trustworthy with livestock and poultry. However, he has no interest in guarding animals. Bosco is easy-going and has a very steady temperament. Although he has not lived full-time indoors, he adapts well to indoor environments and clearly desires to be part of a family. Please note that he is not guaranteed to be fully house-trained due to limited indoor living, but he exhibits good house manners when indoors. Bosco is good with children, non-dominant dogs, visitors, and cats when properly introduced. He is not a nuisance barker, only alerting when necessary. If he were to escape from fencing due to boredom or lack of interaction, he would seek people and attention rather than roam or run off. Therefore, he requires a home where he will be included and engaged. Bosco is good on a leash and enjoys going for walks. He is currently being worked with daily on basic commands and is progressing well. However, he will require continued training. He rides okay in vehicles but does not find it enjoyable. Bosco is current on vaccines and microchipped. We are seeking a responsible and committed home for Bosco. An application, references, and phone conversation are required. We prefer in-state adoptions, but out-of-state adoptions will be considered for the right home.
Please message for more details about Bosco's temperament, history, and compatibility.
