Story
Meet Fern, a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with the perfect blend of goofy, playful, and cuddly! 💕 Fern currently lives with three other dogs and a cat and gets along wonderfully with everyone. She’s house-trained, doing great with crate training, and walks beautifully on a leash. She also attends doggy daycare, where she loves running, playing, and making friends. When the adventures are over, Fern is happiest snuggled up with her people. Because of her sweet, gentle, and easygoing personality, we think she would do well with children and make a wonderful family companion. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who loves both adventure and cuddle time, Fern may be your perfect match! 🐾 If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at https://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/forms PLEASE MAKE NOTE- OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN ALABAMA (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED), OUR DOGS TRANSPORT TO THEIR NEW FAMILIES IN RHODE ISLAND AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN ADOPTED. Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate. Story
Meet Inga! From a Cardboard Box to a Second Chance Adoption Fee: $399 Adoption Application - Copy & Paste https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 Born around March 15, Inga and her littermates entered the world with everything stacked against them. Just days old, seven newborns were placed in a box and left on the side of the road. Cars passed... until someone finally stopped and looked inside. Seven tiny lives. No mom. No warmth. Heartbreakingly, two didn't make it. But five little fighters survived and today, they're safe, healthy, and ready to find the loving homes they were always meant to have. Now about 10 weeks old and around 15 pounds, Inga is growing, playful, and full of personality. We believe she is a Shepherd mix, and while we can't say for sure, we estimate she may grow to be around 50 pounds. This sweet group includes 4 girls and 1 boy, each one a reminder of just how strong and resilient these babies are. Inga is the last one of this litter. Inga is the last pup in this litter. What we know: They are healthy and thriving They are social, curious, and affectionate They are lucky to be alive and ready for love We may not know exactly what their future size will be... but we do know one thing for certain: she deserves a family who will never let her feel abandoned again. If you're ready to give Inga, an incredible survivor, the life she's been waiting for, please apply to adopt. Their story started in a box... help us make sure it ends in a forever home.
