weight 80 lbs 11 months old as of 4/14/2024 adoption donation $499 Lila is such a sweetheart! She is a VERY loving and gentle girl and definitely a Velcro dog—she is by your side or at your feet. She just loves to be petted and put her big head on your lap when you sit down. Lila would love to be a lapdog but has learned she’s a bit too big. But she does fall madly in love with her people!     Lila recently arrived in the northeast and settled in quickly in her foster home. She is an easy dog, if you leave her alone, she will just sleep and greet you with a very wagging tail when you return.    Lila adores children and would love to be in a family, she just loves to be in the mix. She walks well on a leash and is perfectly potty trained. She’s not a barker, she will just announce if someone comes to the door and then stop and wag her tail wildly at your guest.    Lila and her siblings were left in a cardboard box by the side of the road in rural Mississippi with a note saying "free puppies." Fortunately Wags stepped in and took the family in. One by one Wags brought her siblings up to loving homes, now it’s sweet Lila’s turn!     Lila loves to play with other dogs but  if there’s food or a toy involved  she becomes possessive and is definitely the alpha. She lived with cats at one  time and ignored them. We  haven’t seen her around them lately, but she does not appear to have a prey drive and is pretty slow moving so we think she would be fine.        Lila likes her crate and loves to gnaw on bones. She's a wonderful companion dog and will make a very loving and loyal member of the family. Introducing the most curious of little girls, Alice (in wonderland!) 🐾 The Wonderland litter wandered up to one of our fosters houses where she was taken in and nursed to health by her mama and foster. These babies were emaciated, their tiny mama (queen) doing the best she could to care for them, but now they are thriving and ready for forever homes! They are pyr/anatolian shepherd/pittie mixes and could range anywhere from 40 to 80lbs, depending on the parent they take after! They’re only 12 weeks old so we can’t quite predict size yet. 🐶 Alice is the only little girl of her litter and she is precious! All she wants to be held like a baby. She cried to be picked up when her foster walks away!
