Story
This has been the hardest decision. We love Moony so much, but we believe he would thrive in a new home that offers much more than we can.We have had Moony since he was a puppy at 8 weeks old. He will now be turning 5 in October. He is the sweetest, silliest dog. He is very energetic, but also loves to cuddle. He knows basic commands, but can be slow with responding (a Great Pyrenees trait). He has figured out how to jump our 4 foot fence. He escapes any chance he gets. We have to keep him on a tie out which can’t be very long because our yard is not the biggest and he would still try to jump the fence with it on. We have a 1 year old and there is no way we can walk him with just one of us and the baby. He can get super excited when he sees dogs, squirrels, rabbits and he lunges to sniff which makes doing both impossible. We work with him when we can, but it is difficult with our opposite schedules.I know he would do so much better with more room to roam with a good, sturdy fence.
