Story
Very well trained male Great Pyreneese. He's a combination pet/working dog. He has guarded chickens his whole 2.5 years of life so he knows the job and has the instincts. He's never lived outside full time. He's great with other dogs, he recently met a baby goat and was fine with her. He was a bit overly excited about the full goat herd outside so something like that will require a little effort and monitoring but he'll do fine. He's also a great pet and general guard dog. Nobody comes around without him knowing and letting you know. He's not like typical male Pyreneese who constantly escape and wander. He WILL walk away to investigate interesting things, but he has a really good recall (almost unheard of with these dogs). And if he walks off, he'll come right back on his own once his curiosity is satisfied. He's lived with small dogs with no problem. Not sure about cats other than the two he met last week and was afraid of. He's the perfect Pyreneese for a small hobby farm! Or large property! Or even typical suburban home (that's where he's grown up so far). He's a stunner! Beautiful, friendly, calm, responsive, well-mannered. If you've got a few chickens, he will definitely keep the predators away!

Story
Merry is a gentle, sensitive girl who truly thrives as part of a pack. She looks to other dogs for guidance and reassurance, so she will need a confident, friendly canine companion in her forever home. While she's cautious around new people, patience pays off. Once Merry trusts you, she's affectionate, loyal, and loves being part of the family. She is fully house-trained and crate-trained, happily eating and sleeping in her crate, and she knows a few basic commands. Merry walks nicely on a leash in the backyard, but she's still too nervous to venture beyond the safety of home. She does, however, attend doggy daycare once a week and does wonderfully with the other dogs there—a testament to how much confidence she gains from canine friends. Because of her sensitive nature, Merry would do best with someone who has experience with German Shepherds or shy rescue dogs. She'll thrive in a calm, predictable home with minimal loud noises or excessive barking, as sudden sounds can frighten her. A secure home is also essential. Merry is athletic and capable of jumping fences, so she'll need a tall, secure fence or a properly enclosed kennel to keep her safe. If you have a patient heart, a friendly resident dog, and are willing to let Merry blossom at her own pace, you'll be rewarded with a devoted companion who simply needs someone to believe in her.
