"Loving Home Needed for Sweet Senior Great Pyrenees I’m are looking for a loving, stable forever home for our beautiful 9-year-old Great Pyrenees. Due to a divorce and life changes from my divorce I’m unable to keep her like I thought I could and unfortunately due to my ex wife’s situation she is unable to have a dog of her size with her. This decision was not made lightly, and my top priority is finding someone who will truly cherish her and give her the peaceful, secure life she deserves. She is healthy, still playful, and very much enjoys being part of a family. We had her from 5-months old until now and she has been apart of a family of 4/5 the majority of her life. While she doesn’t eat a lot for a large breed, she is a solid, well-built dog with plenty of life and personality left. About Skye: • Great Pyrenees, 9 years old • House-trained and well-mannered • Does not chew or destroy items • Listens well and responds to correction and direction • Calm, gentle, and affectionate • Protective of her people in a loyal, watchful way • Excellent with small and big children, cats, and small dogs • Unsure about large dogs only because she hasn’t been around them much She has an amazing personality—sweet, loyal, intuitive, and loving. She would do best in a home where she can be part of daily life, whether that’s lounging nearby, enjoying a yard, or quietly keeping watch over her family. Ideal Home: • Someone experienced with large or guardian breeds preferred • A calm, loving environment • Someone who understands and appreciates a senior dog • A home committed to giving her stability and love for the rest of her life This is not a first-come, first-served situation.
