Hiya! I’m Balto ❄️🐾I’m a charming Husky pup with a big personality, an even bigger heart, and enough fluffy fur to keep me looking extra handsome year-round. I’m 17 weeks old, weigh about 30 pounds for now, and trust me… I’ve still got plenty of growing left to do! 💙Like most Huskies, I’m full of energy, curiosity, and adventure. I love to run, play, explore, and be involved in absolutely everything my humans are doing. Sitting still for too long? Not really my style. 😅 I’m still learning about this big world and will need basic training, structure, and lots of positive guidance as I grow into the amazing dog I’m meant to be. The good news? I’m smart, eager to bond with my people, and very motivated by fun and attention. I absolutely adore people of all ages — kiddos, adults, and the elderly too. I’m a social butterfly who wants to meet everyone. I also get along great with other dogs and would probably love having a playful canine buddy around. Cats though? Definitely not my thing. 🚫🐱Now let’s talk about something very important when it comes to owning a Husky in Arkansas… heat. ☀️ Because of my thick double coat, I will need a family committed to keeping me safe and comfortable during those hot southern summers. That means plenty of fresh water, shade, indoor air conditioning, and avoiding intense exercise during the hottest parts of the day. Early morning and evening playtimes are best for a fluffy guy like me. Huskies are bred for cold climates, so keeping me cool and monitored during summer weather is extremely important for my health and happiness. ❄️🧊 I’ll also need regular brushing to help manage my gorgeous coat (and yes… there will be fluff everywhere 😂). Huskies are highly intelligent working dogs, so mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise. Puzzle toys, training sessions, walks, adventures, and activities will help keep me from getting bored and finding my own “creative” entertainment. 🙈At the end of the day though, I’m still just a happy puppy who wants love, guidance, adventure, and a family to grow up with.
